About Sterling Scott
Scarborough-born and Edmonton-built, Sterling Scott is the kind of comedian who can shake a room and still make the whole crowd feel like they are in on the same joke. His high-energy storytelling pulls from family, identity, and the daily chaos of being human—finding common ground without sanding down his point of view.
Sterling won the San Francisco Comedy Competition in 2019 and made history in 2024 as the first comedian to receive a Golden Buzzer on Canada’s Got Talent, where he became a finalist. His credits also include Netflix Is a Joke, Just for Laughs, CBC’s The Debaters, Roast Battle Canada, and performances for military audiences overseas. He is also a driving force behind Edmonton’s Colour Me Comedy Festival. Sterling is available across Canada, New York, Boston, Los Angeles, and the U.S. East Coast.
